The importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) has been given a lot of emphasis in recent times and has even been highlighted in the last two Malaysia Plans and the Malaysian Education Development Plan 2013-2025 (Higher Education). Nevertheless, TVET faces branding issues because many still consider TVET as a path for those who are less academic. This webinar will highlight the main challenges that require a leap in leadership, as well as efforts to promote effective partnerships in supporting and stimulating innovation and bridging the gap between educational outcomes and the needs of the labour market. This webinar targets leaders of higher education institutions, industry representatives, entrepreneurs, policy makers, researchers, students and educators especially in the field of TVET.

All are welcome to join the panellists from local and international to discuss and share their insights and strategies as leaders in empowering TVET leadership in dealing with challenges as well as expanding opportunities. We hopes that this seminar will be a platform to provide a clear understanding of leadership, especially in supporting the excellence of the country’s TVET agenda to a higher level.
