The undergraduate and postgraduate student enrollment at UTeM was approximately 13,000 in 2022. In line with UTeM’s 2023-2025 Strategic Core under Core 1, which targets a total of 19,000 students, efforts were made to increase enrollment for the 2023/2024 session, along with Senate approval for 13 popular programs across all faculties. Therefore, a workshop for the enrollment of 7,000 students was conducted to enhance and expand UTeM’s student intake.
This workshop involved members including faculty deans, deputy deans, Faculty Promotion Committees, the Academic Management Division, Registrar’s Office, UGlobe, the Academic Planning and Development Office (PPPA), CISMo, UTeM ACCESS, and other related university entities.
