VISIT AND DISCUSSION BY THE GERMAN-MALAYSIAN INSTITUTE (GMI) TO UTeM

A courtesy visit from the German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) to the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) was held to discuss proposals and potential collaborations in academic programs. The GMI delegation was welcomed at the parking area of the Chancellery Building and subsequently escorted to the Main Meeting Room, Level 5, Chancellery Building. The discussion session between UTeM and GMI was chaired by YBrs. Prof. Dr. Zulkifilie bin Ibrahim, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International). During this meeting, various matters were discussed, particularly those related to academic collaborations between the two institutions. The GMI delegation was led by Ts. Fahrul Rizal bin A. Halim, Deputy Managing Director (Academic & Operations), along with Heads of Departments and other relevant officers. UTeM believes that this collaborative effort will have a positive impact on UTeM’s visibility while contributing to the advancement of education and research, particularly in the TVET sector in Malaysia.
